Description
Self Piercing Tap Connectors IPCs for Low Voltage Aerial Bundle Cable (LV ABC) JBC series
The self piercing tap connector IPCs is used to achieve contact by simultaneously piercing the low-voltage ABC conductor of the main distribution line and the insulating layer on the insulated copper or aluminum conductor of the network connection line. The piercing tap connectors present a fast and straightforward way of making a tap off style connection. It allows you to pierce the insulation and create a high-pressure connection with the conductor.
The piercing tap connectors is used on all type low voltage aerial bundle cable to take a tap connection. This tap can be used to continue the line, distribute the line, used in street lighting or in-service connections to households.
